2020 brought a lot of changes. There was the one that changed the world (cough cough). However, there was also positive change for Nutrition & LIfe, our Dietitians and our wider team. One of our values is innovation so it makes sense that we are trying to be forward thinking not only in the way we support clients but also how we operate. You can learn more about our values and us a people on our About Nutrition & Life page.
These changes started with new Dietitians coming on board. We established Dietitian clinics in Queenstown, Central Otago, Christchurch as well as things growing in our original site in Dunedin. Due to the impact of COVID19 we have changed this as our team are a mixture of Virtual Dietitians supporting New Zealand Men and Women across New Zealand, Christchurch Clinic Dietitians, and Dunedin Clinic Dietitians. We found many New Zealanders enjoyed working with a Virtual Dietitian so we innovated to meet our client and Dietitians needs.
Our NZ Dietitian Clinics are currently located in:
We also underwent a re-brand in 2020 and we're very excited for you to see our beautiful new website!
Our team is passionate about working with clients from all walks of life but after lots of team brainstorming and discussion we noticed a common trend in our client celebrations and passions. Mid-life women, in our opinion, are not represented enough when it comes to nutrition support and body appreciation and we want to change that! Adolescent females, those on fertility journey’s, pregnant women and new mums receive a lot of support (and rightly so) but what about the next chapter of a women’s life? That’s right the m word. Menopause.
Menopause is a time of change (after all it is called the change of life) and with that comes hormonal change associated symptoms such as weight changes, hot flushes and mood swings. For women who have struggled with their body image or have dabbled in various diets in an effort to change their shape or size this time of life adds further vulnerability to diet culture and we want to help you learn about another way of spending your energy in this next chapter of your life.
So if you are a mid-life women, you’ve spent years navigating body image concerns, a love-hate relationship with food and are entering or enduring the “change” then we want to work with you! Our get your glow campaign (no not another hot flush) is all about you doing something for you again. Maybe you’ve been a super mum, that “go-too” friend or career women. When was the last time you invested in you?
Our e-book “Get Your Glow Back” is a wonderful place to start your journey. If you want to receive this free work book then make sure you sign up to this email list.
We can’t wait to work with you!
